Anybody else not get along with their parents?

I have the two parents who should have never been parents. It's been about 9 years since I spoke to my father and 8 since my mother. They are both toxic toxic people

I don't get along very well with my mum, but 99% get along with my dad. They are just two different people who really manage being parents different ways. My mum; very judgemental, bitchy, guilt-trips quite a bit and usually it is her way or no way or everything is someone elses fault if that doesn't work. My dad; pretty understanding, accepting, always there to help out, never made me feel horrible about any aspect of myself. I always used to say if my parents got divorced sooner, I would have chosen to go with my dad. Much to the surprise of others.

I was 100% a daddy's girl when I was younger, but we hit a rough patch when he started doing drugs. He died in 2012 and I absolutely, completely regret not being as close with him when he died. My mom and I have always been pretty close, but she is SUPER annoying, and I love her to death, but we still bicker sometimes: mostly about unnecessary things.

My mom and I are like sisters. My dad and I are literally the same person personality-wise so we butt heads more than we should, but overall our relationship is pretty good! Thankful to have a good relationship with my parents.
