do i need a 2nd dose of misoprostol?

My baby's heart stopped at 8 weeks and  I have been subscribed misoprostol orally to help pass the tissue. I have taken my 1st dose and have started to have have bleeding and pass large clots. Do I need to take a second dose? it made me super nauseous so I want to avoid it if I can.

I'm sorry for your loss ❤️ I would call your doctor to double check, but I took mine vaginally when I had my loss and took one dose because they only told me to take the second dose of nothing happened.

I took mine vaginally as well.. the first dose did nothing so I had to take a second round.. and it worked. Please be mentally prepared for this process.. it's not easy and was the hardest thing I've experienced in my life. I'm sorry for your loss, just know you're not alone. ❤️
