Ruptured ovarian hematoma?!!

A few hours after having sex, I starting having the worst pain I've ever experienced in my stomach so I went to the ER. After a few scans the doctor said it looked like I had a ruptured ovarian cyst although I haven't had a history of ovarian cysts at all that I know of. But when they went in to surgery it wasn't even really a cyst just a ruptured blood vessel/possibly hematoma on the surface of my ovary that caused a lot of internal bleeding... the doctors couldn't tell me what caused it. I'm 23 and have been sexually active since I was 16 but didn't have sex for a year until just before this happened. and I'm kind of scared to even have sex ever again if that's what caused it...

please anyone tell me if this has happened to you or any thoughts on this ???
