Baby can turn down literally at any time. Some don't turn. Many providers check for position around 36-38 weeks.

I'm 34 weeks and my baby is not head down yet. The doctor told me not to be concerned at this point. She has some time to move. I'm hoping that she does!

My little girl has been head down since 20wks.  Every baby is different though.

My baby was breech at 29 weeks. When I went back at 31 weeks she was head down. My provider isn't checking for positioning until 35-36 weeks though.
