6pm showed up to hospital to start induction

7pm nurse checked me before induction and I was at a 3.5!! Was only a 2, 4 days ago. She went and talked to the dr and it was decided to wait till 5am and just just do pitocin instead of starting with the 12 hour insert.

(I was contracting almost 3-4 minute apart it wasn't really feeling it till about 9pm)

12am got up to use the restroom and had the bloody show! At this point I can't get comfortable anymore and the dr on shift came in to introduce herself. I told her I just started spotting and she checked me again... 4.5cm and 80% effaced! She said if I stay on this track I may not even need the pitocin 🙂

1:30 am asked for iv meds to take edge off and try to get a little rest. Was given stratal (probably spelling that wrong)

3:30am meds wearing off but was able to nap for about and hour. Was rechecked and now at 6cm. Am now hooked up to saline and have food taken away. Officially will not be needing pitocin 😌

5am got second dose of Iv meds

6am broke down and called for the epidural

720am got the epidural. (One of the worst pains of my life)

740-9 epidural wore of 20 minutes after getting it and my contractions were every 2 minutes.

910am the added more meds to meds epidural but nothing worked.

940am the nurse came into check me and was surprised that we were ready and she called the dr!

10:50am we had our sweet girl Arabella 😍

After getting stitched up from a 3rd degree tear and a lot of blood lose it was a long day. She is 100% worth the pain. My dr said I could basically tell everyone I did it naturally since I only got 20 relieve from the epidural
