Help! How do u care for two: baby + toddler?

To all the moms who have 2+ kids - what's ur tip/advice for taking care of 2 AND do the house chores (eg cooking and cleaning) AND take care of urself (eg shower, poop...)???
I have a 3-week old and a 2-year old... it breaks my heart for almost always having to say "no" to my toddler bc I have to do this and that to the baby... Help!!

Baby wear and then also reevaluate your expectations. Remind yourself that the first few years are survival mode. You will get through!

My advice is ignore the house chores. Yes occasional  laundry etc but this isn't the time for a clean house.

Also is hubby around? Make him play or clean.

Can you baby wear? That might help? I try to go to the park or stroller rides for my 2 year old. He has fun and baby sleeps.

I have a 15 month old son and a 17 day old baby girl so I know where your coming from. I just make sure I give my son one on one time with me so he knows he's still just as important and it helps him a lot. My house is dirtier than I would like but I keep it ok for now until I get more in the hang of our new routine. Good luck, I'm sure your doing great 😀

cut yourself some slack. these past few weeks my house has been a mess, my toddler eats mainly pop tarts and granola bars, and the TV is my babysitter. it's not ideal but I know this phase won't last and eventually I'll adapt and get back to being a better mom and wife but like other have said, it's survival mode right now

I'm in a similar situation. I have a 21 month old and 2 week old. It's tough because my toddler gets so jealous, especially when I nurse the baby! Luckily for now my newborn sleeps in 3-4 hour increments so when she's asleep I use that time to play with my toddler, make him meals, take him outside or we all go to the park for a walk, etc. I also use that time to get house chores done. I try to get out of the house at least once or twice during the week, even if it's just going to target or the park down the street because it helps me stay sane.

I have a 2 week old 17 month old and 4 year old and I honestly just wing it daily !😅
I just roll with it as it comes at me !
