How many animals is too many?

Just curious to see how many animals you think is a reasonable number

Depends on if you can afford to take care of them and have the time and responsibility. Some people can't take care of a pet, and some have enough time, space, energy, and money for 10+

Depends on the situation. Like someone with a small apartment might be better off with two house pets and one or two caged pets at most- but if you have a farm with a huge house two or three house pets, a few caged pets, and a large handful of farm animals would be okay. I think size of the home, outdoor space, personal responsibility, income, and even the climate should be taken into account when getting pets. When I see cases of like 20+ cats, I don't care how much money you make- unless you live in a giant mansion with help from caregivers, which is highly unlikely, I don't agree with it.

When you can no longer properly care for them. If you can't afford too feed one,pay for vet bills and properly house and care for it then one is too many....If you can afford too do all of the above for 10+ animals then you're good.

Never too many!!!!...... under proper circumstances and the proper care, as long as animals are happy, and healthy, then there isn’t really a set number

However many you can afford and comfortably and safely home. If you've got a laundry room of 10 cat litter boxes for 30 cats and there's shit everywhere and it smells like ammonia, well no, you shouldn't have 30 cats.
There needs to be room for them, and not too many where you can't give all of them the attention they need. Cats are a bit more independent, but dogs really need that play time and interaction.

I have three dogs and one cat and it’s borderline too many for my family . 
I think it depends on the financial situation and living situation, plus responsibility levels.

When it gets to a point where you can’t afford or have space for each of those animals is when it’s too many. I have 14 cats, they’re all well fed (maybe a little too well fed) they aren’t all squished into a small house, they’re all fixed, and they all are able to go straight to the vet if anything happens to them.
