In Australia we are currently voting on whether we believe gay marriage should be legalised. (Even if majority vote yes, the law won't be changed until parliament agree so it's a huge waste of money.) A current issue that is circulating is that by legalising marriage equality, we are encouraging gender fluidity and transgenderism in children by having "safe schools." Safe schools are schools that provide a safe environment for gay and transgender students as well as informing students as to what these relationships are.

I personally totally DISAGREE with this idea, and think that people are turning marriage equality into something it's not. I am just interested to hear what other people have to say.
