Sugar pills ?

Do i need to take the sugar pills in my pack of birth control pills ? Like can i jus start a new pack & not take those ?

Answer

You don't need to take the placebo pills. They are there to keep you in the habit of taking the pill at the same time everyday during your withdrawal bleed. If you wish to start a new pack instead of taking your placebo pills you may. This will cause you to skip your withdrawal bleed but keep in mind this may cause spotting, period like symptoms without bleeding, and your withdrawal bleed may happen anyway. Each individual is different and has a different reaction to skipping a withdrawal bleed.
