Hiccups and paci when breastfeeding

KR

My daughter burps really big and better than my first daughter but she ALWAYS gets the hiccups bad after feeding. It doesn't matter if she burps or not. I know they say the hiccups don't hurt them but it drives me crazy listening to her hiccup bc she seems so uncomfortable. Any suggestions or tricks I can try to prevent her from getting them? Next question was when did you introduce a paci to your baby? (if u did at all) My lactation consultant says she is using me more for comfort when she's full and still wanting to suck. She is up for a long time struggling to get her fingers to stay in her mouth so she can sleep but it doesn't work so I just been putting her to the boob and falling asleep almost every night like that. With her still attached when i wake up. I want to give her a paci but do it the right way so it doesn't mess us up breastfeeding. Any suggestions?
