My brother owes me $600. I lent the money to him a while ago and he is aware the he owes me money. But the other day he went to the car dealership and bought a new car! A brand new car. I sort of feel like he should have paid me back before buying something so expensive.

Are you desperate for money right now or do you just want him to pay you back? Also, look at his need for a car. Was his previous car getting old or have tons of miles on it? Did he get a new job and now needs a vehicle? There are lots of variables in if it was a shitty move or not. If his need outweighs yours, no he isn't being rude.

Omg. this is like my situation. My brother also went and got a new car not too long ago and he also owes me $600. awhile back, he said he was gonna make payments to me, but never did. about 3 months ago him and his now ex girlfriend went to get a car for her and HE ended up coming home with a new car. I was pissed!
