starting first round of femara. what to expect?

I am starting femara after my Oct cycle. ttc for 15months! anyone had results with this drug and if so how quickly? also did you experience any side effects? thanks :)

I was ttc for 15 months, with two miscarriages. First Letrozole cycle with trigger and IUI,  I got pregnant! I’m 6 weeks 4 days right now.

I love femara! I've done 5 cycles total, 3 of which got me pregnant. Only side effect I had was occasional headaches (although I'm prone to headaches anyway, so could be a coincidence). Good luck!!!

I took my first round of femara this cycle! I went in for an egg check on Saturday and the doc said I had a very healthy egg and would ovulate really soon! I had my first ever positive opk yesterday as well! (:

I did two rounds of Femera, did not worked for us :/. Side effects for me on Femera included headaches, ovary pain, & my ovaries felt like they were the size of a football haha. Trying Clomid for this cycle hoping it works.

I'm on my first cycle of Femera! Currently On CD 12.. so far so good! 
-side effects: hot flashes 
- yesterday CD 11 had two follicles 15mm and will be 20mm when I ovulate 
-gave myself a trigger shot tonight to induce ovulation

I’m CD 14 and doing a trigger shot today!! I took Femara 5mg CD 3-7 and have 4 follicles that are mature! Clomid did nothing for me, one ovulation but my progesterone was too low for a viable pregnancy unfortunately. Fingers crossed for you and I that this works!!

Unexplained infertility- Tried Clomid for 3 months and now first month of Femura 5 mg. Soooooo many hot flashes alllllll day and night sweats too but sacrifices are the name of the game with babies.
Side note, anyone doing OPK's while taking either of these meds experience almost positive OPK's all the time? I'm having trouble figuring out ovulation when it was very evident before when I was ovulating...

I’m currently on my TWW and my AF is due 10/24. First round of letrozole and no bad side effects while taking it but when I ovulated it was horrible, cramps, nausea, migraine! But it was not bad as clomid for me. Good luck! Sending you all baby dust!
