My boyfriend of 7 months was playing a video game. A few songs play on the game and I said "I'm not over them yet" (it's been a few months already that he's played and I've watched). He said "maybe in a year you'll be tired of it".

Does this mean he sees being with me for a year/long time? Or was he just making a comment that could have meant "oh you'll hate it the more we play"?
