Is it normal to spot instead of period a month after miscarriage?

It’s been about a month since i calculate I stopped bleeding after misscarrying a 8 week baby at 12 weeks. I have no cramping or anything like that but last night I noticed some blood on my panties and assumed it was my period but this morning I woke up to find out it’s just spotting.... is this normal? HELP I’m freaking out 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 it was a natural miscarriage btw

I am the same miscarried febuary 22nd and had a natural miscarriage was supposed to be 8 nearly 9 weeks but baby measured upto be 5/6 weeks and well  I have just started to spot so light its not on my panties just when I wipe my pelvic area is a little tender but nothing Major like period my boobs arnt sore like they normal are when AF is due but I am seeing it as because I bled so much when I miscarried was very heavy for about 1 week that maybe this is just a light period my regular periods are normally very light for about 4 days anyway but just class this as your period as i am and i am getting on trying for a baby asap baby dust to you hun and feel for what your going through xxx

Having a miscarriage can totally mess with your cycle. My doctor told me as long as its been at least 20 days since any bleeding/spotting after the miscarriage, it is considered a period. Do you know if you ovulated?? I was certain when I got my first period because I recognize my ovulation discharge, and had it about 2 weeks before hand. Mine started kinda weird. I didn't have typical pms symptoms, it was spotty the first day or 2, then really heavy for a few days (my normal flow is pretty heavy for 2 days in my cycle, but it was a little more so than usual) and then it slowly tapered off. It lasted 10 days. My next period was more normal though. If you're worried though, it would hurt to keep in touch with your doctor! I talked to mine many times throughout the whole ordeal... and it really helped with stress and gave me some peace of mind. So sorry for your loss, hang in there! ❤️

I didn't have spotting a month after my miscarriage but it could very well be normal. If I were u, I'd see Dr just in case

It can be normal and take up to 12 weeks to have a period again (this is info I was given by my ob). If you’re concerned though definitely call you ob and talk to them or their nurse.
