Bleeding after emergency contraceptive

I took Aftera, an emergency contraceptive pill because Plan B was out of stock everywhere. I took it about a week ago and yesterday I woke up to heavy bleeding almost as if I was on my period but I'm not because I just had my period about a week and a half ago. Today is day 2 and I'm not bleeding as heavy anymore but there still a little of blood. I'm in my fertile window/ovulation and I'm wondering if this is a side effect from the emergency contraceptive or just really heavy ovulation spotting. Anyone else experience something like this?
