Membrane Sweep?!

Question

Im a FTM and just wanting to know how the membrane sweep went for you? Did it work with your first pregnancy, how far along were you and how long before going into labor? I'm a little nervous about it and will be having it done next week at 38 weeks +3 . Also doctor even told me I could try inducing labor by starting to use my Breast pump, did any of you try this?

I was a little nervous about having it done also but I had mine stripped at 39 weeks and about 4 hrs later started having contractions and about 4 hrs after that I delivered my baby boy!! so it really worked for me!

I had my sweep at 40+4. As I walked out of there i started having period like cramps. Was in labour for 2 days though before delivering, as I was pretty crap at it.

I had a sweep at 40 weeks leaving me slightly crampy, I then had a second sweep at 41 weeks and at 1.12 the next morning my little princess was here xx

You could try drinking chamomile tea if your having light contractions and that will help bring Labor . It helped me
