This week my 17 month old pinched or hit my mom and she pretended to cry. My daughter looked at her like she could care less. Later we were playing and I pretended to cry (I forget the reason). And my daughter instantly started crying and was saying mommom and some gibberish like she was saying sorry or something. And then she was patting my arm.

I felt bad that I had made her cry. But was also surprised by her reaction to me "crying".
