Does your 4 month old use a sippy cup?

4 months is way too early for a sippy cup. No other fluids should be given till 6 months when they can have sips of water and even then they're not suppose to have more than 2 oz a day of water.

Just a little breastmilk while everyone eats dinner. It's really just for him to play/practice with while we eat. We will start transitioning more around 8-9 months.

We did at 4 months because our doctor got us to start soilds at 4 months. I would use breastmilk at the beginning but I was water now and my daughter loves it. I use one of the 360 cups from munchkin and they are super neat.

I looked at the feeding guide I got from my pediatrician and it says at 4-6 months no fluids yet by sippy cup but 6-8 months you can start introducing formula/breastmilk and some water in a sippy cup. And then by 8-10 months you can do other fluids. But it still says fruit juices aren’t recommended.
