Anyone buy baby clothes before being pregnant?

Maybe it how I was raised I know I want kids I’m a twin as well as my mum so there high chance, I started buying baby items cause we’re ttc and if I don’t have a boy or girl I’ll give the clothes that I won’t use to charity or someone who needs it so far I have 37 baby clothes iv collected anyone else so this ? It helps me stay positive

For me that would be too hard to look at. And if you end up not conceiving then you will feel resentful and it will be painful to donate. I didn't buy anything until I was near the end of my first trimester because I didn't want to have that extra pain if anything happened. It also felt more special to buy things for my baby once I knew him if that makes sense. It wouldn't have been as personal if he already had random clothes before even existing

I did it too as soon as I found out we were ttc and it’s been a year and a half and still no luck but I know I’ll be a Mum soon or later and as you said you can donate it so don’t feel bad ever!
