Been or Being Induced?

Those who have was your labor longer and harder, or shorter and quicker?

I love this. this is baby #5 for me also. #1 I went natural but i got something to take the edge off. I was induced but it took 13 hours for him to get here. I was in and out the entire pregnancy. The meds they gave me made me drowsy. Baby #2 went into labor on my own.Epidural due to back labor. labor pains started 4a in the morning went to the hospital at 5p when they got 5 mins apart. had him at midnight. #3 went to the hospital to get induced. got epidural. lazy pregnancy. got to the hospital at 8a. induced me at 4p had him at 630p. #4 was induced all natural. Got to the hospital at 12p. got induced at 430p had my 9lb'der at 606p. Im most likely will get induced this time to. prob natural again.

This is baby #5 for me... I was induced with baby #2 and #4. In my experience it's much more painful (if induced with oxytocin). I just wanted to die both times. With baby #2 I didn't get the drip until I was 4cm. I went from 4cm-10cm in about an hour. But I think that's because my body was "ready". But the pain was so bad that I swore to myself that he was my last baby (lol). With baby #4 I don't think my body was ready. I got the drip at 4cm again but it took 3-4 hours... or so to get to 10cm. AGAIN... the pain was terrible and I feel that the drip made my after birth pains even more intense. Both inductions I opt for no pain meds... but when I did ask during my fourth labour I was too far along to get anything. 
Going into labour naturally with my other two babies... I feel my body was ready when it was ready and my body was more relaxed so I progressed quicker. Baby #1 laboured and delivered in 3 hours. And Baby #3 I laboured and delivered in 4 hours. I also didn't opt for any pain meds. And was in far less pain!

I was induced with pitocin. I was in labor 4 hours and pushed for an hour.

I was in active labor with my first & second. So I’d say it went by pretty quick. Especially since they say your first is always the longest.

I’ve been induced with all 3 of my girls (2 medically necessary and 1 by choice). My first one was brutal I was induced at 38 wks and was in labor for 36 hrs (up until now I don’t know why my OB decided to induce). My second and third were easy! I think all in all in took about 5-6 hrs to give birth with last 2.
