I need advice. I'm due January 1st and the hospital is an hour away from my house. My in laws live an hour away from me, making the hospital two hours away. My in laws are hosting Christmas and I brought it to my husbands attention that if I were to go into labour the hospital is 2 hours away. It's our first so I'm pretty nervous and don't know what to expect. My husband agreed that it wouldn't really be fair to make me travel 2 hours while I'm in labour. He told his family we probably won't come to Christmas dinner and they freaked. They said I was being ridiculous and it's only a two hour drive. Am I being ridiculous? Selfish?
