should I re-test or wait until my next AF is due?

first time posting, sorry if it's in the wrong place! So I normally have a 34 day cycle on average, can go 2 days either side. I was having all sorts of pregnancy symptoms after ovulating last month until day 29 where I had spotting of light brown and pink blood ONLY when I wiped, nothing on my undies for 2 and a half days. Mind you I normally have a heavy flow that lasts 4 days and get very emotional...I felt fine. Anyway I havn't had anything since and my test was negative a week ago (a week after the spotting stopped). was it just a very light, weird period? I looked everywhere online and it sounded like IB.. should I just wait until next AF is due and see if it comes or test again? it's never happened to me before..sorry for the long post! thanks for reading
