I think that's pretty unlikely unless they miscarried and the baby/fetus didn't leave the body

I tested negative with urine test through my entire first pregnancy. I finally got a blood test and ultrasound confirmation at 12 weeks.

I googled it and found a lot of stories saying sometimes the levels are so high the test can actually show false negatives. I'd look some more online if I were you.
