please help

I started using first response digital OPKs. on day 8 I received a yes and now the damn test has permanently shut off. idk if I'm more pissed that I spent 40 bucks just to use 4 strips out of a 20 pack and might being able to continue testing. I feel as though I was given a false positive so now I'm wondering how I'm supposed to move forward because I refuse to pay for more tests when I still have literally a whole box in the house. my cycles are irregular so I know that was too soon for me to ovulate and I didn't feel the left ovary tinge you get when it usually comes. I had taken vitex and red clover to help regulate it hut now I just feel all over the place with no control
