okay. I know I probably shouldn't be on here asking this and I know I shouldn't have to feel like I should hide this from my mother. And if anything I'm being responsible. Let me first start by saying I just hit my 20's but I'm still on my parents medical insurance. I want to get tested just to make sure everything's okay with me and I understand if you tell the doctors to keep your information confidential they must, but will my mom like get notified or calls from my insurance company about this? And I really want to get on birth control but my mom is too concerned about side effects so it's like Every time we talk about it she'll say that can cause this and blah blah blah. I know she's only trying to look out for me, but I'm not having any type of sexual activity but still want to be prepared.
