my husband gave money to one of his friends daughters for her to retake her learners. told her if she passed she didnt need to pay back and failed she did. but told me after would you be upset?

Most defiantly! We share money so we always discuss where it's going weather we give some to a family member or want to buy something extra for ourselves. He's ask me to loan his mother money and I straight up said no and he respected my answer, and same for him if the tables were turned I'd respect his answer. At the end of the same our marriage comes before arguing about giving other people money we worked hard for.
