I'm 37 weeks and at my appointment yesterday Dr said I was 40% effaced and 1 centimeter dilated. I know I could be that way for a while, but maybe not! I'm getting excited! Dr said at my last appt she could push her head out of my pelvis, but this week she couldn't! after my appt I was actually in a small car accident. Went to L&D; to be checked out, and I had contractions every 5 minutes for 4 hours.. not much progress, but hopefully some today, more contractions and cramping, some bloody discharge too!
