so my son was on regular formula when he was born. since about the 3rd week when he was on similac advance he started screaming during and after his bottles hes been EXCESSIVELY and i mean excessively gassy since and we had to switch him to sensitive. it seemed to work for a while then he started doing almost the same thing on it. still ridiculously gassy beyond normal. will drink a hlf oz of his bottle sometimes and just start SCREAMING and knocking the bottle away (i have him recorded for proof) and hell cry wanting it back but then eat for a second and start screaming again.. it has gotten to the point where hes woke up at least 4 times coughing to the point of like choking and cant breath. for over 2 weeks now he has had a lot of mucus in his stool and has had excessive poops for over 2 weeks. at every diaper change almost. so basically every hour or two. in his sleep the other night he started gasping for air and i jerked him up and held him against me and he stopped it scared me SO bad i cried. so i made him a dr appointment because ive explained to a dr at childrens hospital and to our sons pediatrician on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS and he wont EVER check him they all just keep telling me everything is normal because he sounds fine and hes ok and they wont listen to me. the nurse and a different dr at the last appt that i made over him gasping for air and sxreaming and the mucus finally listened to me and said they think its reflux so they prescribed him zantac its been 3 days and he seems to not be getting any better and kinda seems worse. the night before last he spit up almost an oz or more of formula during his bottle it soaked him me and his blanket. its the 3rd time hes spit up the other times he just swallows it.. tonight my fiance said he had him in his carseat about to bring him home from my moms house and he all of a sudden just started choking on nothing and couldnt breath. im at my wits end. all of his symptoms point to a milk allergy and at his follow up monday im going to mention it and demand an allergy test. i am absolutely TERRIFIED and cry because im afraid something bad is going to happen to our baby boy because they wont check anything even after stressing to them that he chokes and gasps for air . all my friends who had kids with milk allergies have said everything he is doing is exactly what their kids did... i dont know what to do.
