for the last two weeks i have been gushing in excitement about my birthday to my boyfriend. finally, today was my big day and i woke up to nothing. not a call or a text. although i was slightly disappointed i didn't think much of it. after my mom taking me to get some celebratory coffee, i arrived at school, only to meet him and not hear happy birthday once. i finally told him i was upset about him not saying anything and all he said was "happy birthday then" . although later in the night he brought up my present i'm still upset. i feel as if i'm being silly, but ill i wanted was for him to genuinely say happy birthday and it upsets me he didn't. what do you think?
