Is 8 days before missed period to soon to test?

i took a test today and it said negative but I was wondering if it just might be to soon?

I just see these stories when people get positive test like 9 or 8 days before missed period losing hope.

Not too soon. I am 8 days before af and I had a positive at 9days before

Don't test yet, as hard as it is. Some people have luck doing it and some don't & it's only going to discourage you.. just wait, it'll fly by 😉
