If you must use a cleanser, get one that is specifically a female wash. There is Vagisil, Summer’s Eve and Tucks to name a few. It’s important to get ones that are pH balanced for your privates. Using regular soap or body wash will kill any and all bacteria, including the ones you actually need for everything to work properly and be healthy. When this good bacteria is gone, bad bacteria can run rampant fast and this is what causes odour. Washing with just water is totally fine. You just have to make sure you rinse everywhere and either wipe with your hands or a soft facecloth, and you will be good to go. If you have been washing with soap for a long time it might take your nether regions a few days to acclimatize so to speak and the smell should be gone. If you do all of this and the smell still doesn’t go away, go see your doctor.

Go to the dr, but if you're using any soaps/rinses down there, stop. You could be making it worse. Just wash with water til you can get to the dr
