My FIL & his wife came to visit last wknd and in the evening my 4mt old is usually cuddled up with me. They wanted to hug and love on him (understandable) but when he started to cry instead of giving him back they want to walk around with him while he’s clearly looking for me (according to my husband, I was cooking both times that this happened). Now that they are gone he screams bloody murder if I’m not holding him even if he’s with his dad. The only time he’s content not being held is if its just me and him in a room and I’m close. Is this some kind of separation anxiety or what? Is there a way to fix this? Now I’m mad at myself for not just taking him.
