What was your 8 week ultrasound like?

I've got a referral for my first US next week and I'll be 8 weeks, can you please share your experiences and what is considered a 'normal' heart rate? also I had to leave work and go to the hospital today because of sudden crippling chest and back pain, after almost 2 hrs monitoring they just said not to work so hard, has anyone else experienced this? it went away after about 15 mins? but yes, 8 week ultrasound experiences?

They tried for abdominal but couldn’t see things that well so they did a transvaginal and this is what we saw! I was 8w2d. Didn’t hear the heartbeat but we could see it on the screen and they measured it and it was 174. They said it was normal but not to google it? So I don’t really know what normal numbers should be because I didn’t google it lol. Hope all goes well and that you’re feeling better!

They did an abdominal ultrasound for me at 8 weeks 2 days. They were able to pick up a heartbeat, it was 172 and they said that was great. I'm not sure what the range is though. Our babe just looked like a little gummy bear, but it was so cool to see!

my babies HR was 174bpm. i believe normal is between 140-180 for 8 weeks, i couldnt see much just a white blue on the machine. but i could see the flicker of the heart <3   i have my 12 week scan in 2 weeks =D
