I live around 950kms (590miles) away from my family and friends as my husband is in the military. I thought considering I have no one nearby, I'd be missing out on a baby shower and while it made me a little sad, I just figured it's how it is, so that's that.

Well, my gorgeous sister and mum had other ideas. Surprising me with a Skype baby shower they hosted for me. They'd posted a package with games to my husband (who was in on it the whole time), arranged a cake to be delivered to my home just as it was about to start, and then skyped me to ask about the delivery.... needless to say I was completely blown away and cried 😂😂😂 Damn these hormones!

Baby Evelyn is already so loved and now we have so many gorgeous things that'll be posted to us before her arrival. I'm so grateful for my amazing sister and mum and the whole family for getting involved.

Had to share my excitement as it was such a wonderful surprise! Has anyone else here had a surprise baby shower thrown for them?
