I want to start off by saying, if you pray, please say a little prayer for my family. My hubby has Crohn's disease and had had zero issues in 2.5 years. His GI decided that it was time for a check up on everything and wanted to go with the pill cam thing. So hubby swollows the pill cam, the next morning he's nauseous, then he's good for another 2 days. He says he never saw the cam come out. Here's where things get crazy... Saturday, he woke up not feeling great and as the day went on, he felt worse and had horrible stomach pains. After watching him in agonizing pain for hours, we end up at the hospital. Super long story short, the pill cam is stuck in the area he has Crohn's. The only option is surgery to remove both the area and the cam. Hubby is the only one working, I stay home with our 1.5 yr old and I'm 10.5 wks pregnant. This is major survery!! I'm stressed to the max about his surgery tomorrow, my son has had a cold and been in rare form, I'm exhausted, hubby's recovery, and of course money. Hubby is being super super stubborn and saying he's going back to work in a week. Guess he'll figure out that he cant, real soon. I'm sorry this is so long, I needed to vent. Any helpful hints on how to keep a 1.5 yr old entertained at the hospital would be great!! Thanks!!!!
