Should I have a baby Shower for my second pregnancy? I dont need anything...

Im pregnant with my 2nd, and its another boy! I saved EVERYTHING from my first, so i am all set with clothes and toys and gadgets etc. So i figured i dont need to have a baby shower. But everyone keeps telling me that i should.... Not so much for the gifts, but for the “celebration” of the new baby.. Am I the only one that just see showers as a way to shower the mother with gifts? So if i dont need anything...... why bother?? Thoughts?

You can always do a diaper shower... every baby needs those ❤ I would definitely do a celebration for the baby 😊

I would just do a do a diaper raffle, the only to join tgevraffle is robbing a pack or case of diapers, then play sone games & music. Still a celebration and you'll get tons of diapers!

do a sprinkle, get a few new things, but wipes and diapers would be needed still!

I’ve only had one baby shower and I’ve got two girls. People brought gifts to the hospital so The baby still got some love just not a full blown party ☺️

I don’t need anything as we’ve bought everything but my boyfriends family want us to have one as a celebration of the baby. I just didn’t call it a baby shower I invited people to come celebrate the impending arrival of our baby girl. I’ve intentionally not made a registry so if people want to bring gifts they can but it can be what they want to buy I won’t be asking for anything. 
I think you should do something to celebrate but I wouldn’t have a shower.
