Should I buy a reclining rocker or go for what's cheaper ??

I'm looking at a rocker that reclines that costs about $300 with an ottoman vs a $150 glider. Help me !

You're probably going to spend a lot of time in it so get what is most comfortable! I spent hours a day every day for over a year with my son in his glider because we breastfed. I'm so glad I spent extra to get a super comfy one!

You don’t need a reclining rocker at all. Actually I would advise against it. Hahaha 1. Falling asleep with baby in your arms is something you want to try your best to refrain from doing. 2. Even if you knownyou won’t, sitting back up with baby in your arms then making the transfer to the bed, well.... good luck with that one. Just get a glider with a gliding ottoman. And get a comfy one.

I got my rocking recliner on wayfair.com I only spent $200 when everywhere else the same one was $600

The reason I voted to not get the recliner is because I feel like it makes you more prone to falling asleep with baby in your arms which is a BIG no-no. It's even more dangerous than bed sharing. Baby can suffocate in the chair AND you have the risk of dropping baby onto the floor.

I just got two la z boy rocker recliners. Our nursery and master bedroom is upstairs so I wanted to make sure at night I didn't have to wonder downstairs to find a comfortable sitting spot when I have a fussy baby. Lucky for me my mom bought one and my mother and law bought the other but I would have bought them regardless. I feel like it's worth the comfort.

I got a cheap one and regretted it. I wish I had gone with the comfy recliner. You’ll spend a lot of time on it.
