So I came to the hospital to be induced last night (Sunday the 8th) at 8 pm. The nurse checked me and I was 2cm. Well I guess my body didn’t want to be induced because after that I began cramping. The pain gradually increased and got pretty bad. I got iv pain medication which didn’t really help much. My nurse checked me again and I was already at 4cm! I then began contracting and couldn’t handle the pain so I got the epidural which went very well. She checked me again and I’m already 5cm dilated!

I’m happy as a clam and feeling very good. I won’t even be needing pitocin after all!

Now I’m going to try to get some sleep considering I’ve been up all night and hopefully soon I’ll have my precious boy in my arms.
