At which age to you allow your child to bathe/shower with out supervision?

My son is almost 7 and I get the shower or bath running and let him do his thing. If he's really dirty I might scrub his legs to get all the dirt off, but besides that I give him his privacy and the responsibility of getting his self washed.

We started giving my son privacy at 6...but kids will be kids and a few times he got in the shower and did not wash up or brush his teeth and just played in the water....so now he has to shower with the bathroom door open.

we started letting him shower alone at five, we just come in every minute or two and make sure he is doing what he is supposed to be doing before he plays. when he is done washing he can play with his toys for a few minutes before he gets out, he is six now.

My eldest is 6 and he likes his privacy to take his own shower. Sometimes I have to help with the shampoo in his hair, but for the most part, he can handle it. My 4.5 year old wants to be like his big brother and tries, but he definitely needs me to soap him up still.

We (my mom or I) still give my 7 almost 8 year old sister a bath because she just isn't capable of washing her hair on her own or scrubbing off the dirt and marker she is always caked in. Shes the size of the average 5 year old so we forget that she's so old. I was taking showers on my own at 6. Guess it just depends on maturity and if they're responsible enough to wash themselves thoroughly

While I was a nanny the 6 year old still needed some supervision(mostly help with hair, and reminders to thoroughly clean). I let her do her thing, but would be in the bathroom cleaning up the younger one, doing my makeup (if the youngest was napping), or straightening up the bathroom. I would wash her hair sometimes, and remind her to clean everything. My daughter is only 10 months now, and I assume I'll be supervising slightly till she's 6/7. Not necessarily helping her, but getting myself ready in the bathroom and making sure she's safe...and clean if she isn't adequately scrubbing/rinsing😜

My first is almost 6 and once our second came along (4 months now) we started letting her be more independent during bath time. I always still scrub her up because let's face it she's a kid and she'll miss things but then she's allowed some time along to play in the tub. She does take showers on her own but I still scrub her hair because it's down to her butt and that's a lot for a child to do. Otherwise she scrubs herself down with her loofa and all that alone.

im not sure i had a few in counter's with falling in the tub so shes getting watched every bath she gets idc or just pimp my tub out so if she does fall a soft spot can catch her

I think 6/7 is good depending on the kid. I think i'll still be checking on them once or twice until they are a bit older.

My son started at 12 months with me in the bathroom, I leave him for a few seconds and then I see how he's doing. He's 22 months old now and he takes a bath by himself.... most like play with the water. 
** I just let the water run for him.
