Boyfriend & College

Hey girls. So my boyfriend leaves for college NEXT August. He’s going to be four hours away and I will be in my senior year. Last night we were on the phone for three hours when he finally told me he didn’t know if he could do the distance. And I started bawling. I have never loved someone so much. I truly believe he’s my soulmate. After all of the conversation and crying, I finally said, “if you loved me like you say you do, we would fight through the distance.” We have friends who are doing LDR right now. One couple hasn’t seen each other for two months because her boyfriend is at boot camp. The other is a good friend of mine who’s boyfriend is four hours away as well but he comes down every two weeks. And they’re doing good. He basically said he was afraid I would leave him because he’s going to party and have a good time. He’ll be 19 in December. I don’t want to hold him back. And I do trust him when he goes away. But after that conversation there’s a little bug in my head that keeps reminding me that he may not want me anymore come August. And I’m terrified. What should I do?
