Any get a cold yet?

Question

I feel like death. Can't breathe so insanely stuffed up, coughing, sore throat and body aches. No fever so it's not the flu. 
Anyways I have the list of approved medicine from the dr but at the end it says to try and avoid all medicine in this first trimester. 
I've been taking cough drops and hot showers followed by a salt water nose rinse. No relief. What are you ladies doing?!

I've had the same thing! Started Wednesday last week and I was in my best friend's wedding this weekend so I had to take something. I took Robitussin DM sparingly, Tylenol if I had a headache and drank this tea. The tea was a lifesaver!!

I’m going through the same thing. I caught a cough from work three weeks ago and was told by my OB I could take plain Robitussin. That made my cough better and then...I got sick again! I went from a dry unstoppable cough to having completely clocked sinuses and a plegmy cough. Waiting for a call back from the OB to see what I can do. I feel like I’m dying and I have not been able to enjoy my pregnancy since I’ve been non stop sick since I found out.

Yes I've gotten 2 colds within 3 weeks. It was terrible. My son brought them both home from 4k

Yes, I actually got a sinus infection last Wednesday. For fear of fever, I went to the dr. I am on amoxicillin (only antibiotic safe for baby) and took DayQuil. Feeling much better now. As long as you don’t see green, DayQuil is a good option or tylonal cold and sinus. Always contact dr if you are unsure.

I am kind of going through the same thing but with allergies and I can’t take anything. Menthol cough drops are really the only thing that’s been helping me. And tea.

I just got over having a cold after a week and half! I started getting sick when I went to my first prenatal appointment at 8 weeks 1 day (I'm now 9 weeks 5 days). My obgyn recommended that I avoid using cough syrups (I only really had a sore throats and a cough) unless I felt it was really necessary. She recommended hot water with lemon and honey which helped. I didn't wind up needing any cough medicine or antibiotics. Now I'm feeling much better!
