Diet to get pregnant?

So I am vegetarian I do not eat meat. What is the best diet for vegetarians so they can get pregnant. Who ever got pregnant while being on a diet and not eating meat please reply and tell me your tricks and what you did to get your healthy baby! Please it’s a need. I been trying to have a baby for almost 2 years now. Oh and I do not eat fish or any seafood. So what else should I eat for the best of me to get pregnant!?

The best thing for you to do is supplement your diet with a good prenatal vitamin. Make sure it has at least 800mcg of folic acid/folate and that it also contains DHA and iron. Most doctors recommend taking these at least three months before you start ttc to build up your reserves of vitamins (it also reduces risk of miscarriage and helps to conceive).
As far as your actual diet, just keep doing what you're doing now (vegetarians often have the healthiest diets because they eat lots of fruits and veggies and healthy fats). You shouldn't need any special diet besides the prenatal vitamins, just make sure you are getting enough protein (eat tofu, beans, milk, cheeses, etc).
