I was carrying laundry down the stairs and slipped and fell. I landed on my right butt cheek and my right elbow. Was probably 5 steps.

I already paged a resident on call and I’m lying here with some ice. My husband is freaking out. I’m balling my eyes out. I just hope everything is ok.

I’m 13 weeks and a day. I feel so stupid and for not being more careful. We literally saw the baby on the ultrasound last week.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Update: I spoke to the resident who checked with a doctor. Said I should be ok and if I have the following symptoms I should go to ER: fever, dizziness, unusual discharge (like water coming out), spotting/bleeding and increased cramping (I have some now).

Updated October 13: I have been cramping all week and this morning there was some spotting and brown blood. I called my OB and they told me to go to Emerg. Got there. Got to see the baby move and her heart beat. Was sent home and was given an appointment for a full ultrasound on Monday.
