My boyfriend and I recently found out we were having a boy! We went through baby name books, websites, lists, and looked at what seems thousands of names. We finally decided we both loved the name Ethan James. We recently told our family and it was not the reaction I was hoping for. I got 2 snubs at the name and my mother who daily will send me names that I can use instead. They bring up bad memories for these family members and they don't like that it cannot be a nickname. What should we do? Try and find another name for our baby?
