When do you start putting baby in the big tub?

My daughter is 5 months old and I want her to play in the big bath tub but when she is reclined in her baby tub she can’t play with the toys in the water. What can I use to help her sit up and not fall into the water?

As long as she can sit up good we always used a laundry basket!

Once he started sitting unassisted is when we chose. We put him in a basket so he doesn't fall,& all of his toys stay close :) & we of course never leave his side for a second.

I started by putting my son in the kitchen sink. It gives him more room to play but there is a lot less room for them to slide around. When he got too big for the sink, I moved him to a big tub. We also got a mat that goes on the bottom of the tub because it was so slippery.
