Any tips on how to make him commit? 
This guy has commitment issues but I’m determined to lock it down. As in —get him to propose.

You can't make anyone do anything, especially propose to you. If he wants to he will and if he doesn't he won't. If you want more make your desires clear and if he's not comfortable with them then you need to accept that he may not be the marrying kind and cut your losses.

No way. There’s literally nothing you can do to make him commit. And even if he does eventually commit or even want to marry you, whatever you did could easily be resented later. He’ll use that as an excuse for anything he ever does wrong in the future and I doubt you want that headache
