From car seat to?

Im a FTM of a 9 month old and he's pretty tall for his months and I've noticed he's already getting too tall to fit in his infant car seat comfortably. I'm wondering what do you moms recommend me to buy next and when?
We currently have the Nuna pipa and it's amazing but baby is getting too big.

My daughter is only 4 months and we’re about to upgrade her to her convertible car seat. She’s only 2 inches away from not fitting in her infant seat anymore (it goes up to 30 inches). We’re buying the Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit car seat. It’s four car seats in one and goes all the way out to 120 pounds.

we upgraded our daughters infant seat,  at 7 months,  because she was already too tall for it. we upgraded from the Chico key fit 30 seat, to the Chico next fit convertible seat. I absolutely love it and so does our daughter. (I know straps are loose,  I did that before taking the pic)

We've used a britax click tight from birth. My two year old is still comfortably rear facing in it. Highly recommend them.

We plan on getting the Graco 4ever seat. Our second choice was the Graco Extend2Fit.

here he is in the 4Ever EXtend2Fit (i put him in it in the house to get the adjustments right and familiar with it before i put it in the car so i knew what i was doing lol)

We got the Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit.... and for the next one we are just going to skip the infant carrier in favor of another 4Ever Extend2Fit because they go from 4-50lbs rear facing to 22-65lbs forward facing with harness and high back booster and no back booster up to 120lbs... so you literally only have to buy one seat...

We have a Chicco Nextfit zip but are going to replace it with a Graco 4ever 4-1.  Less boosters to buy in the future

My son outgrew his infant seat at almost 5 months. So we switched to a convertible seat. He was so much more comfortable and he could see better not lying as flat.

We went from infant seat to a Britax convertible. Safest on the market and suitable for babies 5+ pounds. I’d HIGHLY recommend these seats.
