The day my girlfriend left for another city I chased her around the city for hours while she was getting stuff ready because i wanted to give her a hug and say goodbye to her in person,and we probably would have only had a couple of seconds together but if you value the time spent with the other person it's worth it. Tbf I missed her and she left and didn't text me goodbye until she was already half way gone so maybe it was a waste of time and you should just leave
