Because I don't think uncooked rice would be considered a non-food item, but I of course would mention this to your doctor, especially if you're having any other symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, lightheadedness, or any kind of general weakness. Like a very lessened form of the flu but without any head cold or sickness symptoms.
