implantation bleeding or period?

So me nd my bf are ttc and im supposed to get my period this week. iv been crampin and i juss went to the restroom and there was blood. it looks like my period but i had irregular periods before i took my bc and i stopped it last week. could it just be implantation and my body just acclimating or is it my irregular period coming back. please help.

UPDATE: Im no longer bleeding but im still cramping. it wasnt a lot of blood when i removed the tampon i put in this morning. Please help really unsure what is happening.

Update: Im bleedin again nd crampin. hope it just cos this is my first pregnancy and not a result of me stoppin my birth control. really hope kts not a miscarriage from stress...
